The ReCIPE research agenda is approached through the following nine specific research themes, that all aim at investigating how incentives for conflict are shaped and how potent economic policies can reduce the scope for fighting. Each theme has two Theme Leaders.
Cross-cutting Themes
ReCIPE is also focused around three cross-cutting development issues that are simultaneously related to conflict and economic performance:
- The Generation of New Data
- Gender Equality and Inclusion
- Climate Change and the Environment
During grant application evaluations, research proposals speaking to these issues in the context of conflict will receive particular consideration.
